What's New

  • Cumulative game clock. Enable "Show cumulative game clock" in Game Settings
    to track total elapsed game time across all periods. Displayed under the period
    clock and written to cumulative_clock.txt for your overlay. Choose between
    MM:SS and H:MM:SS format.

  • Custom penalty labels. A new home_penalty_labels.txt and
    away_penalty_labels.txt combine player number and time into a single file —
    point one OBS Text source at it with a background, no more gap between number
    and time. Customize the format in Game Settings with a live preview. Compound
    penalties (2+2, 2+5, 2+10) can optionally show the phase 2 time.

  • Period length file. External tools like reeln-cli can now set custom period
    lengths via period_length.txt.

What's Fixed

  • Penalty chapter markers showed the wrong team. Chapter entries like
    "Power Play: Away #10" now correctly say "Penalty: Home #10".

  • Clock adjustments on compound penalties lost time. Subtracting a minute
    when only 30 seconds remained on phase 1 of a 2+5 now correctly starts
    phase 2 at 4:30 instead of 5:00.

  • Editing Game Settings reset the clock. Changing the penalty format or
    CLI path mid-game no longer resets your period clock.

  • "Game Finished" carried over to new games. The checkbox now resets when
    you start a new game.
