Deferred: TypeScript 7 is a major compiler migration. npm/security batch is in #56 without the TS7 jump; please keep this PR or recreate after #56 lands.

Superseded by a proper dual-install upgrade: #57. TypeScript 7 has no stable JS API yet, so a bare bump breaks astro check and compiler-API tests.
