Critical Fix

  • Fixed a CPU spin bug in v0.03: an unconsumed stderr readability handler busy-looped at ~98% CPU once powermetrics wrote anything to stderr. stderr is now redirected to /dev/null. Measured: 98.3% → 0.0% CPU.

If v0.03 made your Mac run hot / showed abnormally high power readings, this was why — please update.

Install

  1. Download PowerCumul-0.04.dmg
  2. Drag PowerCumul to Applications (replace old version)
  3. First launch: right-click app → Open → Open Anyway (once)

严重修复

  • 修复 v0.03 空转 bug：stderr 的 readabilityHandler 未消费数据导致 busy-loop，powermetrics 一旦写 stderr 就烧满一个核（~98% CPU）。现改为 stderr 接 /dev/null。实测 98.3% → 0.0%。

如果 v0.03 让你机器发热/功率读数异常偏高，就是这个原因——请升级。

安装

  1. 下载 PowerCumul-0.04.dmg
  2. 拖入「应用程序」替换旧版本
  3. 首次打开：右键 App → 打开 → 仍要打开（仅一次）
