PowerCumul v0.07

What's New (since v0.06)

  • Top Consumers panel: a new "Top Consumers" section under the power trend chart — the top 5 power-draining apps plus an "Other" tail for the selected range (24H/7D/30D), each with a share bar, percentage and attributed Wh. Follows the chart's range selector instantly.
  • Per-process energy attribution: powered by powermetrics --show-process-energy (Energy Impact). Attribution uses each app's share of the system energy score × measured Wh of the range — a weighted estimate, not metered accuracy; ranking and percentages are reliable. Measurement daemons and OS aggregate pseudo-tasks (powermetrics/ALL_TASKS/DEAD_TASKS) are excluded.
  • Hourly accrual with tiny footprint: buckets mirror the existing hour/day aggregation (168h / 365d retention) and persist to an append-only process_energy.jsonl (~0.7 KB/hour); the in-progress bucket survives restarts via flush-and-continue.

Update

v0.06 users: right-click ⚡ → "Check for Updates…" — in-app one-click upgrade.

Install

  1. Download PowerCumul-0.07.dmg · drag to Applications
  2. First launch: right-click app → Open → Open Anyway (once)

  • 耗电应用 TOP 列表：功率趋势图下方新增「耗电应用 TOP」区块——显示当前区间（24H/7D/30D）耗电前 5 的应用 + 「其他」长尾行，每行带占比条、百分比与归因 Wh，随图表区间切换即时重算。
  • 按进程能耗归因：数据来自 powermetrics --show-process-energy（Energy Impact）。归因方式为各应用能耗分占比 × 区间实测总 Wh——加权估算值而非电表精度，排名与百分比可靠。已排除测量进程与系统聚合伪任务（powermetrics/ALL_TASKS/DEAD_TASKS）。
  • 按小时累积、占用极小：桶结构与既有小时/天聚合一致（保留 168 小时 / 365 天），落盘为 append-only 的 process_energy.jsonl（约 0.7 KB/小时）；进行中的桶经退出补写，重启自动续算。

升级

v0.06 用户：右键 ⚡ →「检查更新…」应用内一键升级。

安装

  1. 下载 PowerCumul-0.07.dmg · 拖入「应用程序」
  2. 首次打开：右键 App → 打开 → 仍要打开（仅一次）
