Student Activities v1.0.0

The first native release of Student Activities is available for Android, Windows, and Linux. You do not need GitHub or any developer tools to install it.

Android

Download the universal Android APK

1. Download StudentActivities-Android-universal.apk.
2. Open it from your browser's downloads.
3. If Android asks for permission, allow installs from that browser or file manager.
4. Return to the installer and tap Install.
5. Turn off the "install unknown apps" permission afterward if you no longer need it.

Windows

Download the Windows installer

Open the downloaded installer and follow the setup steps. Because this release is not distributed through the Microsoft Store, Windows may show a security prompt. Verify the checksum below before choosing to run it.

For an AppImage, make the file executable before opening it:

chmod +x StudentActivities-Linux.AppImage

Verify a download

Checking the SHA-256 value confirms that the file you downloaded matches the file published in this release.

Linux terminal:

sha256sum <downloaded-file>

macOS terminal:

shasum -a 256 <downloaded-file>

Windows PowerShell:

Get-FileHash <downloaded-file> -Algorithm SHA256

On Android, use a SHA-256 checksum utility to select the downloaded APK.

Compare the result with the checksum shown beside the download. Do not install or run the file if the values differ.

iOS and macOS

The iOS IPA in this release is unsigned and cannot be installed normally (as such you might need a jailbroken device or ios-app-signer
). v1.0.0 does not include a macOS build. Use iitmbs.org on those devices for now.

The Flutter web artifact is a work in progress and is not the student website. Use iitmbs.org for browser access.
