Nuvio Portable is a Windows build of Nuvio Desktop designed to run directly from a USB drive or writable folder without a traditional installation.

Carry your profiles, settings, downloads, and offline media on the same drive. Download movies and episodes directly to the USB, watch them offline inside Nuvio, or play compatible downloaded media files directly from the USB on supported TVs and media devices.

Installation

1. Download Nuvio-Portable-Beta-v0.1.0-Windows.zip.
2. Extract the entire folder to a USB drive or another writable location.
3. Keep nuvio.vbs beside the Nuvio folder.
4. Launch Nuvio using nuvio.vbs.
5. Portable Profile, Local, Cache, and download folders will be created automatically.

Do not launch Nuvio.exe directly when using portable mode.

Managed computers

No administrator installation is required, but managed work or school computers may still block unknown applications, removable drives, streaming services, or network access under local security policies.

Nuvio Portable does not bypass security controls or organisation policies.

Status

This is a beta release. Core portable operation, login, profiles, playback, fullscreen handling, downloads, offline playback, and USB storage have been tested on Windows.
