A maintenance release on top of v10.0.0 — decoder panel fixes, and much better manners on other people's receivers.
Decoder panel
- The header no longer clips its own controls. On a small screen — an iPhone SE, worse still in Display Zoom — the header run overflowed and
BIG, minimise and close fell off the right-hand edge entirely, so the box could not be resized, minimised or dismissed. The run now scrolls, with‹ ›arrows that appear only when there is more to reach, and minimise and close are pinned outside it so the way out of the box is always on screen. - The spot filters are menus, not cyclers.
MODE,BANDandAGEused to advance one option per tap;BANDhas eleven, so reaching 10m meant ten taps. They now open a popup and you choose. - BIG / SMALL for every decoder, not just images, with the panel width capped on large screens and the box sized so it cannot run under the status bar.
- SSTV alignment fixed. A frame received with its right-hand strip wrapped to the left was being corrected as a shear — the top lined up and the bottom did not follow. The whole picture is now shifted by a single offset. Verified against a real signal.
- SSTV and WEFAX saves now share a real file, so the share sheet works on macOS and Save to Photos works on iPhone.
- The spots and DAB lists regained their height cap, and the rotate banner no longer draws over the transport bar.
Being a better guest on shared receivers
- Each server's own session limits are honoured, and you are warned before one times out — with the reason it exists. A four-hour limit is about sharing a scarce receiver; a four-minute one is simply checking a human is still listening.
- Our own invented 30-minute hand-back is gone. Operators who want a limit already set one.
- The KiwiSDR keepalive now matches their own client's 5-second rate. We had been sending it five times more often.
- Unknown server messages are logged and reach the diagnostics export, instead of being dropped in silence.
VibeServer
- Noise reduction, squelch and the auto-notch now work when connected to a VibeServer. The controls were present but inert.
- Receiver directory fetches time out instead of spinning for ever.
Also
- Crash recovery no longer leaves a phantom session behind, or silently reconnects you to your default server.
- Render crashes now record which component failed.
