Feature release — in-car enhancements.

What's new

  • Browsable car lists (Android Auto): Bookmarks and Band Plan now appear as scrollable, tappable lists in the car — pick a station or band directly instead of only using skip buttons. The existing skip-button toggle (tune-by-step vs skip-through-bookmarks) is unchanged.
  • Band-aware tuning: each band carries the right demodulator and tuning step (e.g. 20m → USB/500 Hz, 41m Broadcast → AM/1 kHz, AM Broadcast → AM/9 kHz in ITU Region 1 or 10 kHz in Region 2). Picking a band from the search list applies it everywhere; crossing a band edge applies it automatically only while connected to a car — handheld tuning is never changed automatically.
  • CarPlay: browse support is built and ready to switch on once Apple's CarPlay-audio entitlement is in place. The band-aware auto mode/step already works in the car on iPhone today via the car audio route (no entitlement needed).
