RED THREADS turns an investigative hunch into a portable case: source-linked relationships, rival explanations, decision rights, actor strategies, and a next record worth pursuing. The string is cheap. The distinction is the work.

Download red-threads-v0.1.0.zip for the complete skill. Keep the extracted red-threads folder intact and install it through your host's supported skills route. The PNG and two Markdown companions are optional artwork and installation handoffs; the ZIP already contains the runtime, investigative references, teaching case, and offline atlas tools.
The package uses your existing AI host. Python 3.10+ is needed for the local case tools and atlas generation; an already generated atlas opens in a modern browser. No separate Augment or bundled persona is required.
This first release includes source-ancestry and cross-record correction impact, guarded case revisions, acquisition and campaign checkpoints, ranked leads, curated views, structural exploration, and saved-view recovery. Local tests and independent supplied-record investigation/correction exercises support that workflow. Fresh-host skill installation and live-web research accuracy have not been established. See the documentation's evidence page for the precise scope.
