Polyread is a Firefox extension designed to assist language learners by displaying captions in two languages simultaneously. Whether you're watching videos for fun or study, Polyread helps you absorb vocabulary and sentence structure in context — without pausing the flow.

Why Polyread?

Installation

1. Download the latest .xpi release from the Releases section (coming soon).
2. In Firefox, open about:debugging.
3. Click "This Firefox" → "Load Temporary Add-on..."
4. Select the manifest.json file inside the extension folder.

Usage

1. Navigate to a video platform that supports external subtitles.
2. Upload or select a subtitle file in your native language.
3. Polyread will automatically display both the original and translated captions in sync.
