UI-Anatomist v0.1.0-beta.1 — Public Beta
UI-Anatomist v0.1.0-beta.1 — Public Beta
UI-Anatomist analyzes observable design-system evidence in rendered web interfaces and rebuilds it as editable Figma assets.
This first Public Beta ships one matching Chrome + Figma workflow:
- Scan an authorized rendered web interface with the Chrome extension.
- Review and export the structured JSON locally.
- Import that JSON with the matching Figma plugin.
- Review the generated variables, styles, components, component states, icons, and reference boards.
Included
- Unpacked Chrome extension
- Figma Desktop development plugin
- Matching versioned manifests and runtime bundles
- Installation instructions
- Apache License 2.0 and third-party notices
Install
Download both files attached to this Release:
ui-anatomist-v0.1.0-beta.1.zipSHA256SUMS.txt
Verify the checksum, extract the ZIP, then install both the chrome/ and figma/ folders from the same package. Do not mix files from different Releases. Full instructions are available in the repository installation guide.
Privacy and safety
No OpenAI, Codex, or other external AI API key is required. The project has no developer-operated backend or telemetry service. Review every exported JSON file before sharing it, and use the project only on websites and materials you own or are authorized to analyze.
Known limitations
- Multi-line or unusually arranged control labels may be grouped incorrectly.
- Icon ownership may be incomplete with unusual containers or multiple graphics in one control.
- Non-standard control shells, nested interactions, and element relationships may be identified incorrectly.
- Custom menus without standard semantic information may be missed.
Coverage varies across websites. This beta does not promise complete recovery of a website's private source code, original design files, hidden states, or internal design system.
Verification
The matching Chrome and Figma runtime folders in this candidate are byte-identical to the locally accepted end-to-end package. The source candidate also passed its approved automated verification.
Accepted environment:
- macOS 26.3.2 (Build 25D2150)
- Google Chrome 151.0.7922.171
- Figma Desktop 126.2.10 (Figma+EX)
- Node.js 24.19.0 and npm 11.16.0 for source verification
These versions record the tested environment; they are not minimum compatibility guarantees.
Next focus
The next phase will focus on broader component coverage, more accurate relationships among states and composite structures, improved stability on dynamic interfaces, and predictable repeat imports. The next beta will be released after those changes pass safety, quality, and acceptance checks; no fixed release date is promised.
