SecShield v2.4: on-device Android security audit, 22 checks, no internet permission, no account, no cloud.

What is new in v2.4:

  • 22nd check: known-bad app check against a bundled offline list of 12 reported-bad packages (Joker/Pradeo Sep 2020, SpyLoan/McAfee Dec 2023). A match is worded as "matches a public offline list", never confirmed malware, and can be dismissed with Mark as trusted.
  • Scam advisor: paste a link or message, offline heuristics only, labelled as a heuristic check, not a verdict.
  • History score trend bars and an upgraded share/PDF report (known-bad matches, trend, top 3 risks).
  • Play Protect explainer card.

Honest status: device testing is ongoing; this README does not claim the app is device-tested. Release signing uses the developer's original keystore, so this APK installs as an update over earlier SecShield versions.
