Changelog
Improved Bluetooth classic rumble consistency.
Rumble over Bluetooth may feel different or stronger than USB, but should remain more stable during normal use.
Fixed classic rumble stop and transition handling so rumble shuts off more reliably across games.
Improved handling for games that send frequent or alternating rumble updates.
Fixed haptic/audio state handling for Battlefield 6-style feedback paths.
Fixed adaptive trigger state echo through audio-state packets.
Added internal diagnostics for trigger and feedback traces to make controller output issues easier to investigate.
Bumped Companion and firmware versions to 1.0.2.
Disabled debug reports in RC firmware builds.
Known Issues
Gyro may stutter in some games or setups.
When the DualSense speaker or headset audio path is active, classic rumble may feel different or lower quality due to DualSense firmware behavior. This also affects direct USB in some games and is not specific to DS5 Bridge.
Games that take exclusive control of the DualSense playback endpoint for advanced haptics, such as Death Stranding, are not supported with Host Encoding. If you encounter audio or haptics issues in those games, disable Host Encoding while playing. -- UPDATE: A fix for this will be issued in the next release
In BT Headphone mode, layered controller audio effects may occur due to normal Windows/game audio routing behavior. If this happens, disable controller speaker effects in-game when available.
