Diorama 0.2.1
Diorama 0.2.1 brings NeoForge to every Minecraft version NeoForge has a stable release for. Before, NeoForge meant 1.21.1 only.

Each jar needs NeoForge for that Minecraft version (on 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1.178 or newer). Put it in .minecraft/mods. 1.21.6, 1.21.7 and 1.21.9 only have beta NeoForge builds, so there's no jar for them yet.
On Fabric nothing changed: keep using 0.2.0.

Diorama 0.2.0
Diorama 0.2.0 runs on many more Minecraft versions, adds NeoForge, works alongside Xaero's Minimap servers, and is a lot faster than 0.1.1.

Fabric jars need Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Fabric API. The NeoForge jar needs NeoForge 21.1.178 or newer. Put the jar in .minecraft/mods.
New:
- Minecraft 26.1, 26.2 and 1.21 to 1.21.10, on top of 26.3 and 1.21.11.
- NeoForge, for Minecraft 1.21.1. Built from the same code as the Fabric jars.
- Import your waypoints from Xaero's Minimap. Open the waypoint list (U) and pick "Import from Xaero's Minimap". On a server it asks which of Xaero's saved worlds is this one first.
- Servers set up for Xaero's Minimap now work with Diorama too. On a network where several servers share one address (a lobby, survival, minigames), each one gets its own map and waypoints instead of one merged map. Players the server tracks show on your map even when they're far outside your loaded chunks.
Faster:
Measured against 0.1.1 on Minecraft 26.3, one PC at 1920x1080, same world and route every run:
- Opening the map zoomed out: 413 fps in 0.1.1, 654 now.
- Walking across a big cavern used to freeze the game about twice a second (44 frames over 50 ms in 20 seconds). Now there are none.
- Flying over new ground, new minimap tiles show up in about 0.3 seconds instead of 3 to 5.
- Long flights no longer stall the map, and map tiles bake about 1.8 times faster.
Fixed:
- The minimap hides while an inventory or chest is open, so it no longer covers JEI and similar mods.
- If you bind Open map or Waypoint list to a key the map also uses (C, Space, Page Up, Page Down), your binding wins.
- Switching Rounded fog no longer blanks the map for several seconds.
- Walking into a cave no longer turns the minimap grey for a second while the cave view loads.
- The waypoint editor refuses a coordinate that isn't a number, and long waypoint names no longer run under the buttons.

Diorama 0.1.1
Diorama 0.1.1 fixes a big slowdown while exploring, and adds Minecraft 1.21.11.
Download the jar for your Minecraft version:
diorama-0.1.1+26.3.jarfor Minecraft 26.3diorama-0.1.1+1.21.11.jarfor Minecraft 1.21.11
Both need Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Fabric API. Put the jar and Fabric API in .minecraft/mods.
What's new:
- Minecraft 1.21.11 support.
- Quality setting: Fancy or Fast. Fast is for slower computers: the map fills in faster and the fog costs less to draw.
Fixed:
- Exploring new terrain could drop the game to 15 fps, with freezes of over a second. Diorama was working out biome colours on the game's main thread. That work now runs in the background, and flying over new land stays smooth.
- The minimap redrew its fog every frame, even when nothing had changed.
- Some chunk edges showed the wrong grass or water colour when a neighbouring chunk loaded after them.

Diorama 0.1.0
The first release of Diorama: a minimap and fullscreen map that draw your world at an angle, so it looks like a model on a table.
Needs Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer, Fabric API and Java 25.
Install: put diorama-0.1.0.jar in your .minecraft/mods folder next to Fabric API. Press M in game to open the map.
Tested on the release jar in a normal Fabric install with Fabric API 0.163.0, and alongside Sodium 0.9.2.
