cursor-sdk2api v0.1.0

The first public release of an independent MIT gateway built on the official @cursor/sdk.

Highlights

  • Anthropic Messages, OpenAI Chat Completions, and OpenAI Responses over one RunCoordinator.
  • First-class Claude Code path with SSE, client tools, parallel and multi-round continuation, replay, cache-aware usage, completed-session resume, and token-count estimation.
  • Cursor catalog context=1m model parameters are forwarded unchanged to the official SDK.
  • Grok Build and Codex/Responses client configurations, plus OpenAI SDK and new-api sidecar recipes.
  • Caller-owned filesystem, shell, web, and network tools remain in the client workspace through custom MCP.
  • Live model catalog, Cursor account identity and Dashboard quota, Operator Console, persistent account files, and outbound HTTP(S) proxy support.

Important boundaries

  • Cursor-routed Grok does not provide xAI-native x_search.
  • Hosted OpenAI tools and Responses stored-object features such as previous_response_id are not implemented.
  • v0.1 is a trusted single-process sidecar. Protect the unauthenticated management endpoint with a trusted network or external auth proxy.
