PropDeck Companion V1.1.1

Fixed: no more mystery dings.

A watch-list or new-DXCC/new-grid alert no longer fires for a station your Min dB filter is hiding — previously the sound played while the roster refused to draw the row, so you heard the news and couldn't see it. A suppressed alert charges no cooldown, so the same station alerts normally the moment it decodes above your filter. The filter's own exemptions carry over: the station you're calling and anyone calling you always alert.

First run: Windows SmartScreen will warn about an unrecognised app — click More info → Run anyway (once).

Updating: just replace the exe. Your config.json, logs and queues survive the swap.

PropDeck Companion V1.1.0

The header wears the brand, and the manual finally talks to operators.

• Two-tone PropDeck wordmark in the app header — Prop · Deck · Companion, matching the PropDeck.net family branding.
• The bundled manual is rewritten for operators: quick start, the roster and its colour language, watching & hunting, where each QSO goes, uploads, and a real troubleshooting section. Developer material lives in the code repo now, not in your manual.
• SmartScreen guidance included — the first time you run a downloaded copy, Windows shows "Windows protected your PC". Click More info → Run anyway (once). Free, unsigned software; the manual and this page now say so up front.

Portable, Windows 10/11. No installer — config and logs are created beside the exe. Point your decoder's UDP Server at 127.0.0.1:2237 and operate.

PropDeck Companion V1.0.0

The first release under the PropDeck Companion name — formerly
FT-Logger (last release: FT-Logger 1.3.3). Same app, same author, one
brand: PropDeck.net in the browser, PropDeck
Companion in the shack. Versioning restarts at 1.0.0.

Upgrading from FT-Logger

Replace your old FT-Logger.exe with PropDeck-Companion.exe in the same
folder — config.json, logs and pending queues all carry over untouched.
Nothing about the configuration, protocol, ports or log formats changed.

New in this release

• Check for updates — Settings → OPTIONS asks this page whether a newer
  version is out. Checks only when you click; nothing phones home on its own.

What it does

• Live roster in GridTracker's colour language — yellow callsigns, orange
  countries, cyan grids; news inverts the cell it is about, and someone
  calling you gets the only blue cell on screen.
• Hunting — never-worked DXCC entities and grid squares light up, checked
  live against your master logbook (which is only ever read, never written).
• FT8 Battle forwarding with UTC-day dupe blocking and /name tagging.
• POTA / SOTA / WWFF activation references, spotted live and written into
  your QSO comments.
• QRZ.com & LoTW uploads, local daily ADIF, and up to three ADIF relays
  to other programs.
• PropDeck.net bridge — feeds the live map from the decodes it already
  receives.
