Bloodborne for Windows 1.5 (DLSS)
New: NVIDIA DLSS
- DLSS Super Resolution for GeForce RTX cards (RTX 20 series and newer, current driver). Pick it in the launcher (Graphics → Upscaler → DLSS) or in the in-game menu. On other GPUs it is greyed out; FSR 3.1 and FSR 4 are still there for everyone.
- It uses the same game data the FSR upscalers get (depth, motion vectors, jitter), and the quality mode follows your preset (Quality, Balanced, Performance…).
Frame generation (DLSS and FSR) is being worked on for a later version.
If you have 1.2 or newer, the launcher offers this update by itself (Update, bottom left).
No game files are included. You need your own dump of Bloodborne CUSA03173; version 1.09 for the community patches.
DLSS support is adapted from IFreemz/shadPS4-Bloodborne-DLSS-FSR. NVIDIA, GeForce RTX and DLSS are trademarks of NVIDIA Corporation; nvngx_dlss.dll is included under NVIDIA's license (see licenses\).
Bloodborne for Windows 1.4
Fixed
- Character creation looked frozen. Choosing "Enter Name" opened the name entry only in the window's title bar, so in fullscreen or with a controller nothing seemed to happen. The name entry is now a box in the middle of the screen. It starts with your player name from the launcher (or "Hunter"):
- Keyboard: type, Backspace to erase, Enter to accept, Esc to cancel.
- Controller: Cross (A) to accept, Circle (B) to cancel.
- AMD cards: two more AMD-only crashes are fixed: with sharpness set above 1.0, and when changing the FSR 4 preset or output resolution in the game.
Known issue
- The character preview on the right of the creation screen stays empty. Your character is created correctly and looks right in the game.
If you have 1.2 or 1.3, the launcher offers this update by itself (Update, bottom left).
No game files are included. You need your own dump of Bloodborne CUSA03173; version 1.09 for the community patches.
Windows build of bbport, the native Bloodborne port by deadinside28.
Bloodborne for Windows 1.3
Fixed
- Crash after the first cutscene of a new game. The game closed itself when the opening cutscene video ended (on every GPU, not only AMD). New games now continue to the character creation screen and into the game.
Known issue
- On the character creation screen ("Contract") the preview of your character on the right stays empty. You can still create your character; it looks right once the game starts. This is being worked on.
If you have 1.2, the launcher offers this update by itself (Update, bottom left). From 1.0 or 1.1: download the zip and unpack it over your old folder; your saves in user\ are kept.
No game files are included. You need your own dump of Bloodborne CUSA03173; version 1.09 for the community patches.
Windows build of bbport, the native Bloodborne port by deadinside28.
Bloodborne for Windows 1.2
New
- Update notifications. The launcher now tells you when a new version is out (bottom left) and Update installs it for you: it downloads the new version, closes, installs it and opens again. Your saves, settings and mods are kept. You can also check by hand under Advanced → Check for updates, or switch the check off there.
- The launcher shows its version in the sidebar.
From this version on, updates install from inside the launcher. If you are on 1.0 or 1.1, download this zip once and unpack it over your old folder (your saves in user\ are kept).
Everything from 1.1 is included: sound fix, black-screen fix (Advanced → Clear shader cache), AMD fixes, the Cheats page and Play Bloodborne.exe.
No game files are included. You need your own dump of Bloodborne CUSA03173; version 1.09 for the community patches.
Windows build of bbport, the native Bloodborne port by deadinside28.
Bloodborne for Windows 1.1
Fixes and new features for the Windows build of bbport, the native Bloodborne port by deadinside28.
Fixed
- No sound. The game's audio thread got stuck after its first buffer on Windows (and kept one CPU core busy, which also added stutter). Sound now plays normally.
- Black screen after the first start. The shader cache could be left half-written when the game closed, and the next start then stayed black. Cache files are now written safely. If you already have this problem, use Advanced → Clear shader cache once.
- AMD graphics cards. Three AMD-specific crashes on Windows are fixed: GPU memory blocks larger than AMD's driver allows, and two texture setups AMD's driver rejects. AMD support is still being tested; please send
user\last_run.logif your AMD card still crashes.
New
- Cheats page: never die, enemies do not see or hear you, Rally never fades, control the targeted enemy. Gameplay tweaks: no Rally, camera further away, no camera auto-rotation, run with less stick tilt, ragdoll physics. They are patches for game version 1.09 and are applied when the game starts.
- Play Bloodborne.exe starts the game with your saved settings without opening the launcher.
- Frame caps above 120 FPS are marked with ⚠: Bloodborne's movement slows down above about 120 FPS.
How to play
- Unpack
Bloodborne-Windows.zipanywhere (or over the previous version; your saves inuser\are kept). - Start
Bloodborne.exe, pick your game folder (the one witheboot.bin) on Game & effects, press PLAY.
No game files are included. You need your own dump of Bloodborne CUSA03173; version 1.09 for the community patches.
Settings are not fixed: 1080p at 60 FPS, for example, is Display & FPS → Frame rate: 60 FPS and Graphics → Output resolution: 1920 × 1080.
Bloodborne for Windows 1.0
First Windows build of bbport, the native Bloodborne port by deadinside28 (based on its 0.2 release).
No game files are included. You need your own decrypted dump of Bloodborne CUSA03173. Version 1.09 is needed for the community patches (60/90/unlocked FPS, resolution, effects); other versions run at 30 FPS.
How to play

Bloodborne-Windows.zipanywhere. - Start
Bloodborne.exe. - On Game & effects, pick your game folder (the one with
eboot.bin), then press PLAY.
