This release freezes the first recency-study protocol and accompanying research artifacts.

Dataset:

• 25 open-source repositories
• 359 analyzed scopes
• 249 eligible lifetime-vs-recent comparison scopes

Key findings:

• Persistent concentration: 57.83% of eligible scopes
• Persistently distributed: 33.33%
• Historical concentration: 4.02%
• Emerging concentration: 4.82%

Methodology:

• Fixed recent-period cutoff
• Frozen concentration thresholds
• Eligible/excluded scope separation
• Protocol calibrated before full execution
