IsotopeAI Offline Edition v1.3.0

Quick Install

git clone https://github.com/suydev/isotope-code.git
cd isotope-code/isotope

Then run the launcher for your platform β€” see README for details.

What's new

✦ Three display modes

A new mode picker (β—‰ button, bottom-left) lets you switch between:

  • Liquid Glass β€” full glass effects, blur, glow, animated scrollbar
  • Glassmorphism β€” reduced blur, balanced GPU cost, clean frosted look
  • ⚑ Potato Mode β€” zero GPU cost, flat colours, max performance for old PCs and low-end Android

Your choice is saved and restored on next load.

πŸ“± Android PiP β€” glass floating timer

On Android browsers the Picture-in-Picture timer now shows as a compact glass card (bottom-right corner) with no broken drag bar or βœ• button. Tap the orange pill at the bottom to dismiss. Smooth entrance / exit animation.

🎬 Background video system

Import any video from your device as a looping background. Adjust opacity with a slider. Toggle on/off. Remove it. Stored in IndexedDB β€” persists between sessions.

πŸ”§ Liquid glass bug fixes

  • Fixed blur dropout on certain elements (added GPU compositing hints)
  • Fixed scroll-behavior: smooth applying too broadly (was breaking scroll restoration)
  • Fixed broken scroll-shadow CSS rule
  • Added contain: layout style on glass cards (prevents full-page repaints)
  • Added @media (prefers-reduced-motion) support
  • Fixed stacking context issues with isolation: isolate

πŸ€– AI + premium

  • Gemini + Groq API keys pre-wired at server level β€” AI works without manual setup
  • All premium AI features (Study Strategy, Give Strategy) fully unlocked
  • Fixed /__isotope/ping and /__isotope/state routes (were broken by proxy routing conflict)

Updating from v1.2.x

cd isotope-code
git pull

No npm install needed β€” zero dependencies.

Requirements

  • Node.js 18+ (20 LTS recommended)
  • Any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Android: Termux from F-Droid
