Highlights

  • TYPO3 14 compatible — works on TYPO3 13.4 and 14.3.
  • Listener registration modernised — switches to the PHP #[AsEventListener] attribute (__invoke) and the YAML event.listener tag is gone. Requires disable_beuser 4.1 or 5.x as before.
  • Hardened against partial upstream payloads — returns early when no users were disabled (no more Undefined array key 0) and swallows ExtensionConfiguration::get() exceptions back to sane defaults so a missing config block never tears down the parent mail send.
  • Dependency injection — ExtensionConfiguration is now provided through the constructor instead of GeneralUtility::makeInstance(). Class is final readonly.

Breaking changes

  • TYPO3 11 and 12 support has been dropped. Both reached end of community support (11.5: Oct 2024, 12.4: Apr 2025). Installations on those versions must stay on the 2.x line.

Maintenance

  • composer.json and ext_emconf.php narrowed to ^13.4 || ^14.0.
  • Throwable pulled in via use instead of FQN.
  • Defensive array_key_first() for the CSV header row.
