DocFence 0.55.0
DocFence 0.55.0 rejects every element or attribute in the OOXML Markup Compatibility namespace anywhere in a recognized OPC package XML signature, as required by OPC §10.5.2.
This is a structural signature boundary distinct from the Word-part MCE inventory: it does not validate MCE conformance, select a branch, preprocess a package, or make a trust decision.
Validation:
- 69 tests passed locally and in tagged CI on Python 3.11 and 3.13.
- Fully declared synthetic MCE-attribute and MCE-element signatures are rejected; 0.54 accepted both with complete declared coverage.
- The public OOXML Signature Security corpus has 29 DOCX files, 22 XML signature parts, 21 parseable signature parts, and no MCE namespace elements or attributes; public profiles are unchanged from 0.54.
- Two independent tagged builds were byte-identical.
