PDFFence 1.16.0
PDFFence 1.16.0
This release tightens the public active-content inventory boundary. Action
categories and additional-action-container counts are now recorded only after
the action is reached through a supported PDF semantic owner path, including a
valid successor in that action's /Next chain.
Private or application-specific dictionaries can still affect stored-byte and
reachable-object evidence, but an action-shaped value under a private
/PieceInfo branch cannot by itself produce an active-content inventory change
or PFP001.
Validation includes 227 tests, the 152-pair PDFCAB corpus, reproducible wheel
and source-archive builds, Twine checks, clean Python 3.12/3.13 installations,
and dependency auditing. See the validation notes and policy documentation.
