Install

Windows: download Certificate-Studio-Windows.exe and double-click it. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway.

Mac: download Certificate-Studio-Mac.zip, unzip it, drag Certificate Studio into Applications. First time: right-click it → Open → Open. On macOS 15 or later: try to open it once, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.

Updating from an earlier copy: close the old app first; if it won't close, end any "Certificate Studio" process in Task Manager. Then replace the .exe. Your saved work is kept.
