@sylphx/pdf-reader-mcp@4.0.0 — Sole-Rust production

Breaking: TypeScript production runtime removed from the published package.
Default entry is a thin JS launcher that runs the platform native pure-Rust binary and fails closed if the native package is missing.

Product truth

  • Sole Rust production (ADR-0006): no ./typescript export, no bundled PDF.js/TS PDF runtime
  • Capability-first semantic compatibility (ADR-0005), not byte-for-byte PDF.js parity
  • Historical TS LKG remains external only: @sylphx/pdf-reader-mcp@3.0.14
  • Performance marketing speedups are withheld (no admissible same-host A/B marketing claim yet)
  • crates.io is not an admitted product distribution channel for this release
