• Avoid PHP stat warnings when probing missing optional asset files. This prevents an unnecessary gap above the WordPress admin menu when debug display is enabled.
• Preserve any existing PHP error when an optional asset file is missing.

Includes PR #10. Existing file handling, dependency-file fallback and request caching remain compatible.

Validation: PHP 8.5, coding standards, static analysis, 255 tests / 612 assertions, and the focused regression tests (4 tests / 16 assertions).
