🐳 Self-hosting

Patch release for the bundled Compose stack.

  • Empty optional variables no longer break a fresh docker compose up -d. docker-compose.yml passes unset integrations as empty strings (${VAR:-}). With 2.3.0 the public configuration rejected them, so every page returned a 500 while /api/health stayed green. Empty values are now treated as unset. Reported in #65.
  • CI — the image smoke test boots with the same empty defaults, and the Compose smoke test now loads a page rather than only the health endpoint.

Multi-architecture images are available for AMD64 and ARM64:

  • docker.io/synapsr/louez:2.3.1 and docker.io/synapsr/louez:latest
  • docker.io/synapsr/louez-background-removal:2.3.1 and docker.io/synapsr/louez-background-removal:latest

Upgrade notes

No database migration. With the bundled Compose file:

docker compose pull
docker compose up -d

If you removed the empty NEXT_PUBLIC_* lines from the environment: block to work around the 500, you can put them back.
