What is new in 1.1

Each app has its own window. PDF Organizer, Scribe, Dev and Units open side by side, each with its own icon on the taskbar; switch between them from the logo at the top. A new theme or language shows in every window at once.

Much sharper PDF pages. PDF Organizer now draws pages with PDFium, the PDF engine of Google Chrome: text stays crisp at any zoom, and zooming is smooth, without flicker.

Sign many files in a tab of its own. Add the files, choose the certificate and where the signature goes, and check each file in a preview you can zoom. Here and in Batch processing, the columns and the list of files can be resized by dragging.

Also

  • PDF files in File Explorer show the PDF Organizer icon.
  • An app pinned to the taskbar from the Start menu and the same app opened normally now share one taskbar button.
  • Dev: the cards on its home page show their border on hover.

Download

  • Windows 10 and 11: syntelab-creative-setup.exe below. Already on 1.0? The program offers the update by itself.
  • Linux: .AppImage, .deb, .rpm. macOS: .dmg. These builds are made from the same code but have not been tested yet; the macOS build is not signed by Apple (first time: right-click, Open).

Note

The Linux and macOS builds are made from the same code but have not been tested yet. If something does not work, please open an issue and we will fix it.
The macOS build is not signed by Apple: the first time, right-click the app and choose Open.

  PDF Organizer

Everything you do with a PDF, in one place.

View, combine, split, reorder, crop and turn pages. Add text, shapes, pictures, watermarks and page numbers, redact, fill in forms and sign. Turn PDFs, pictures and office documents into one file. OCR and batch processing included.

  SCRIBE

A text editor with its tools beside the text.

Clean, sort, compare and transform text. Chain steps into recipes and run them on a whole folder. Opens files of any size, a page at a time.

  DEV

30 developer tools, and your data never leaves the computer.

JSON, YAML, CSV, XML and SQL formatters, Base64, JWT, hashes, UUIDs, passwords, keys and certificates, regex and cron, plus HTTP, DNS and port checks. No size limits: the only limit is your hardware.

  UNITS

One of the most complete unit converters you can install.

38 converters and about 1,590 units, from length and currency to viscosity and radiation. Convert one value, or fill a whole table and see every unit at once. Everything is computed on your computer; only currency rates are fetched.

🔒 Private by design

Your files never leave your computer. No account, no sign-in, no telemetry. The program goes online only when you ask it to: currency rates, a web page you open, a network check.

♾️ No limits

No page counts, no file-size caps, no daily quotas, no paid tiers. A thousand-page PDF or a gigabyte of text: the only limit is your hardware.

🗂️ One window

Every app opens in a tab of the same program. One install, one set of settings, light and dark themes for all of them.

🔄 Signed updates

New versions download and install themselves. Each update is checked against our signature before it runs.

🌍 62 languages

Menus, messages and help, all translated. Full right-to-left (RTL) support: in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu the whole interface is mirrored.

📖 Open source

The code is public under the AGPL v3.0: anyone can read it, check what it does and build it themselves.

Build from source

You need Node.js and Rust, plus the system packages listed in the Tauri prerequisites.
