AI Usage Tracker v0.2.5
A clearer README with seven screenshots from the installed package, a separate user guide, and corrected privacy and installation guidance. The existing quota-ring icon has cleaner small-size exports. All previous artwork, writing drafts, and capture iterations are preserved in the repository's concept folder.
This release also fixes the compact widget header and the optional Windows scheduler's registry write. Removal dry-runs no longer change registrations. Packages include the MIT license, and Chromium CRX3 files are signed with the existing project key.
Install
Download AI-Usage-Tracker-chrome-v0.2.5.zip, extract it to a permanent folder, then use Load unpacked on your browser's Extensions page with Developer mode enabled. The signed CRX is a secondary file for compatible self-hosted or managed setups, not a Chrome Web Store package.
For the in-page widget without an extension, install ai-usage-tracker.user.js in your userscript manager. The bridge ZIP and native scheduler ZIP are optional; see the user guide before installing them.
Verification and limits
Full local tests and isolated Chromium/Firefox package checks pass. All six release files rebuilt byte-for-byte identically; SHA256SUMS.txt covers their download names. CRX signatures and archive contents were verified.
Screenshots use example data, not live account readings. Chromium has the fuller runtime and accessibility coverage. Firefox was tested as a temporary development add-on; Mozilla signing is still pending, so no unsigned XPI is offered here.
The JavaScript typecheck gate retains its existing 1,147-diagnostic baseline. Live authenticated provider accounts, installed userscript managers, and a QuotaGlass installation were not part of this acceptance run.
