AIUsageTracker v0.4.1
See Claude and Codex quotas in one Windows dashboard, with reset countdowns and per-window alerts.
What's changed
- The README now shows the installed application and links directly to the installer, portable ZIP and setup guide.
- Try the interface with
AIUsageTracker.exe --demo. Example data stays in memory, without reading credentials, contacting providers or playing alerts. - Settings and privacy documentation now explain polling delays, local token estimates and optional event hooks.
- Codex token scanning opens its SQLite database read-only. The mini overlay shows its current value immediately, and Activity filters are easier to read.
- Release packages include third-party notices. Original artwork, mockups and every screenshot review are preserved in the repository.
Downloads
Use AIUsageTracker_Setup_0.4.1.exe for a per-user installation, or extract AIUsageTracker-portable-v0.4.1.zip. The standalone EXE is also available. Compare file hashes with SHA256SUMS.txt.
Windows 10 or 11 is required. Live usage needs a signed-in Claude Code or Codex CLI installation; a browser login alone isn't enough.
The EXE and installer are unsigned. Windows or your organization's policy may warn about them. Don't disable security controls to install the app.
Verification
27 local tests pass. The source GUI, packaged executable and installed application were exercised with offline example data on a private Windows desktop. The installer was installed, byte checked and uninstalled. A check of the 19-package pinned runtime set found no known advisories at release time.
This pass didn't access live provider accounts or exercise actual sound playback, Windows toasts, tray interaction, webhooks, event commands, autostart or extra accounts. Alerts depend on confirmed responses and aren't guaranteed at the exact countdown boundary. Token totals are approximate.
See verification details and the setup and privacy guide.
