The standalone settings page (chrome-extension://…/options.html) is gone. All of its functionality — export/import backup, reset-all-data, storage statistics, and version chip — now lives inside the toolbar popup, styled in the flame-accented workspace language the options page introduced.

Removed

  • extension/options.html, extension/options.js, and the options_ui block in manifest.json
  • The popup's secondary "Settings Editor" ghost button (it opened the removed options page)

Added

  • Hero workspace card at the top of the popup — flame-accented header, brand + version chip, "Settings workspace" eyebrow, and the primary Open Full Settings CTA inside the card
  • Storage overview — five live-updating stat cards (Keys, Storage, Hidden, Blocked, Bookmarks) that refresh on every chrome.storage change
  • Data actions row — Export, Import, Reset. Export uses chrome.downloads.download when available so the JSON lands in the user's downloads folder even after the popup closes. Reset shows an in-popup confirmation dialog matching the options page's tone.
  • Quick toggles section given its own framed panel with an eyebrow header + live count

Changed

  • Popup grew from 360×560 to 420×600 to fit the hero, stat grid, data actions, and quick-toggle list
  • Popup theme tokens synced to the options page: same page background, workspace card gradient, stat card treatment, flame accent, focus ring
  • background.js#togglePanelForTab opens a new YouTube tab when the panel-toggle message can't be delivered, instead of calling the now-removed chrome.runtime.openOptionsPage()

Tests

80/80 JS tests pass. tests/hardening.test.js rewritten around the new popup: options-source invariants removed, new regression test blocks the options page from returning, export/import-parity check re-homed to popup.js.
