Hushfacebook 0.1.7 brings back the settings shortcut from #2. Facebook pushes three shortcuts of its own whenever it posts notifications, so on a launcher that shows only a few, Hushfacebook dropped off the end. It stays first now. Long-press Facebook's icon on your home screen to find it.

There's a new patch, Clean up Reels. It takes the Follow button off reels and hides the comment and reaction previews Facebook shows under them. The Remix, template, Stars and link-out buttons go too, and each part has its own switch under Reels and Watch. It starts off in Morphe Manager.

Downloads have two new settings. Download quality holds every saved video to 1080p, 720p, 480p or 360p, or picks the smallest file. Video file name builds names from a template with {date} and {video_id}. Download any reel is on by default now, so a fresh patch puts a Download button on every reel.

Saved files get the right extension when Facebook's server labels them wrong. A gallery write that fails is reported and cleaned up, and if the gallery won't let go of an unfinished save, the first save after a restart tries again. With Open links in external browser on, fb.watch, m.me and Facebook's other short links open inside Facebook again. The settings screen is easier to read on the black page and says what each row does in all five languages. It won't close Facebook any more when no browser can open the source link.

All 22 patches applied without force to Facebook 580.0.0.51.74 and 577.0.0.50.72, with no manifest changes. Local checks passed: 468 extension tests, 166 patch tests and both Android lints.

On a signed-in test phone (Galaxy S22, Android 16), the update went on through Morphe Manager and kept the login, and Hushfacebook shows first when you long-press Facebook's icon. A reel saved with the quality set to 720p came out as a 720p file named from the template. Clean up Reels kept the comment preview off the reels it showed.

Known issue: on the Reels tab, the Follow button beside a reel's author still shows with Clean up Reels on. The fix is next.

Requires Morphe Manager 1.32.0 or newer. Patch the arm64-v8a Facebook bundle. The .mpp is a patch bundle, not a Facebook APK.
