PartitionPilot v0.9.27
PartitionPilot's README now opens with one version-free hero that explains the safety promise before the feature list. It keeps the approved storage-route identity and shows the real partition workspace captured on a private Windows desktop.
What changed
- Added the selected README hero as the first content and enforced a single hero reference with tests.
- Archived both design candidates, width checks, comparisons, prior artwork, current screenshots, and the README before and after the change.
- Re-captured all four product views from v0.9.27 using simulated disks.
- Updated the self-contained .NET runtime and matching Windows management packages to 10.0.12.
Downloads
Choose PartitionPilot-0.9.27-Setup.exe for a normal installation or PartitionPilot-0.9.27-Portable.zip for a portable copy. Both include the desktop app and pp.exe. The full and delta packages support existing Velopack installations.
No Authenticode certificate is available. These binaries are unsigned, so Windows may show SmartScreen. The checksum manifests and GitHub asset digests verify file integrity but don't establish publisher identity.
Local verification
- All 753 unit tests passed. The test project reports 41 existing analyzer suggestions.
- The product build completed with no warnings.
- The portable package matched all 20 non-symbol files in the final publish tree, and its CLI reported v0.9.27.
- The packaged app opened and closed normally on a private Windows desktop with simulation enabled.
- The hero passed full-width, 960 px, and 640 px visual checks. Its artwork contains no version number.
No real disk writes or installer upgrade on a user profile were performed during this release. The foreground UI automation suite was not run.
