ZeusWatch v1.24.0 — Security & reliability

Install: download ZeusWatch-v1.24.0.apk below and open it on your phone (Android 8.0+). It's a signed release APK — no Google Play, no account, and no developer keys required. You may need to allow "install unknown apps" for your browser/file manager. The universal APK runs on every device architecture (arm64 + arm32). ZeusWatch-Wear-v1.24.0.apk is the optional Wear OS companion.

Highlights

  • Community reports hardened. Reports now use anonymous sign-in bound to the submitting account, with a server-enforced per-account rate limit and no device identifier stored in report data.
  • Graceful offline. Widgets, the persistent notification, and your watch now show last-known weather (with a freshness label) during a network outage instead of going blank.
  • Smoother scrolling. Custom icon packs decode off the main thread, so the forecast list no longer janks on first load.
  • Internal networking cleanup (no behavior change).

Note for the maintainer: the community-report feature requires Anonymous sign-in to be enabled in the Firebase console (Authentication → Sign-in method → Anonymous). Everything else works regardless.
