The phone experience has been rebuilt as a dark precision weather console. Ten routes now share a flatter, denser layout with near-black surfaces, cyan focus states, clearer hierarchy, and compact controls.

Highlights

• Today uses a two-column current-conditions hero with a compact six-hour forecast.
• Hourly and Daily use dense tables and retain the shared location and action toolbar.
• Radar now defaults to RainViewer Native and presents playback controls directly over the map.
• Locations, map picking, Compare, Custom Alerts, Settings, and onboarding follow the same visual system.
• The first onboarding step includes a new transparent location and weather illustration.
• Compact controls keep their visual size while exposing Android-compliant 48 dp touch targets.

Verification

• Phone and Wear OS unit tests passed.
• Android lint passed and Detekt reported zero code smells across 426 Kotlin files.
• All 35 instrumented tests passed on a Samsung SM-S938B at 1080x2340.
• Accessibility checks passed at 1.3x, 1.5x, and 1.8x text scaling.
• Standard, freenet, and Wear OS release APKs were built locally and verified with APK Signature Scheme v2.

Use the standard arm64 build for most current Android phones. The universal build includes both supported phone architectures.
