v0.73.0
Hushfeed v0.73.0 has 134 patches for global TikTok 47.1.4 (com.zhiliaoapp.musically). It needs Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer, since it's built on patcher 1.15.1.
This one is mostly downloads and LIVEs. You can tick posts on a profile grid and save them in one run, or record a LIVE while you watch it. Feed filter got a minimum length and comments can give every name its own color. A profile background you save now stays put, too.
Here's every report this release changed something for, and what changed.
For bug reports
- The progress bar over an opened video's caption (#153). With Hide the comment bar on opened videos on, the bar sits right under the caption again, even with a Search or Playlist bar below it, and photo posts in an opened grid reach the bottom of the screen.
- LIVE panels under the clock (#137). With Show a LIVE under the status bar on, the panels above the LIVE feed's first room start below the clock.
- The Service+ row under LIVEs (#94). A LIVE in For You no longer keeps the Service+ row of the LIVE before it.
- Creator name cut short (#127). A name that comes back on screen with Show where a video was posted or Show the handle instead of the name on isn't left cut short anymore.
For requests
- Profile banners (#80). A background you save with Profile background on now stays after TikTok restarts. Restart TikTok once after turning the switch on.
- Minimum video length (#154). Feed filter has one now, right above the maximum.
- Sharper story saves (#155). Saving a story on Automatic takes the tallest version TikTok has for it.
- Saving several posts at once (#27). Pick videos to save from profile grids puts a circle on each post, with Pick all on its bar, and it works inside Favorites collection folders too.
- Recording LIVEs (#37). LIVE rooms can show a Record button. It's off until you turn it on in Playback settings.
- Clear screen in LIVEs (#57). A new LIVE controls switch adds clear screen to the menu of rooms where TikTok left it out.
- AMOLED in TikTok's own settings (#152). The cards on the pages under Settings and privacy, like Display, go black too.
- Regional features (#98). Feature Gate Lab has presets for Korea's scrolling comments, several photos in one comment and Japan's LIVE chat auto-translate.
- A see-through bottom bar (#145). A new Feed screen switch lets the video run to the bottom of the screen and takes the background off the tab bar.
- Exact time options (Discussion #147). Show the time to the second can drop the time zone or write a short date.
To help track down
- TikTok's storage use (#70). The storage section of the diagnostic report no longer shows part of your account ID as a folder name.
What's changed
- A profile background saved with the Profile background switch on no longer disappears after TikTok restarts. TikTok asks its servers for profiles with a value that left the background out, and the switch now sends the one that brings it back, the same one Feature Gate Lab's Profile banner preset sets. Flipping the switch now offers a restart (#80).
- Feed filter has a Minimum video length beside the maximum, under Limits. Videos shorter than it are hidden, while photo posts and videos TikTok sent no length for stay. Like the maximum, when a whole batch would go, the video closest to your limit is kept (#154).
- Saving a story on Automatic quality now gets its tallest version that other players can open, not the smaller one TikTok's player happened to be streaming. A story whose own clean file is already that tall keeps it, and one with nothing better saves the way it did before (#155).
- Turning a commenter switch on or off under Hushfeed settings > Comments now changes the comments of a video you'd already opened. Before, reopening those comments showed the names and countries they were first drawn with until you moved to another video or restarted TikTok. A verified badge after a name stays where it is.
- A new Color commenter names switch under Hushfeed settings > Comments gives each commenter's name a color of its own. An account gets the same one every time it shows up, a darker shade on TikTok's light comment panel and a lighter one on its dark panel, so a long thread is easier to follow. It starts off.
- Hide videos you have already seen works on the Following tab too. On TikTok 47.1.4 that tab only meets the feed rules where TikTok reads its list, and the switch was left off there. A video you watch on the tab stays put while more load under it, and one you saw earlier is taken out when it turns up.
- A video you're watching on For You or Following stays put when TikTok reads the list again. It used to vanish from under you once it got older than your Maximum post age, once Hide videos you have already seen counted it as watched, or when its counts moved past a range or views per like limit you set. Videos that come in after it still go through every rule. Turning a rule on or changing one checks them all again, though Hide videos you have already seen still leaves alone the ones you watched in that list.
- Show the time to the second has two options under it. Show the time zone (on, so the row reads as before) can drop the zone, and Short date writes the date the short way your language does, like 10/7/25. Each works without the other, the seconds always stay, and both use your language's own formats and your phone's 12 or 24 hour clock (#147).
- Pick videos to save from profile grids works inside a Favorites collection folder too. Its videos get the same circle, in the top left corner there since TikTok's own Select posts box takes the top right. Pick all reads the folder's list, so a whole collection saves in runs of 50 like a Liked or Favorites list (#27).
- When some of the original photos you save don't come through, the result now has Retry beside Open. It tries again only the photos that failed, in the post's order and under the same file names, so the ones that landed aren't saved a second time. Photos you cancelled or didn't pick are left out, and Retry keeps showing up as long as some still fail. A Retry made under another account than the one you're on now says so instead of saving. Tap Retry while that post is still saving and it says so, and it stays there to tap again once the save is done.
- Quick setups can be hidden from the settings home with a long press on its card, and its help line now says so. The Quick setups on the home page row on Backup and restore brings it back. Settings backups and the Quick setups choices leave it alone.
- LIVE rooms can show a Record button, off by default and found in Playback settings. It saves what you watch from the moment you tap it until you tap Stop or leave the room. Nothing from before the tap is saved. If the LIVE ends, the connection drops or the phone runs low on room, you get what was recorded so far and a message that says so (#37).
- With Hide the comment bar on opened videos on, the progress bar no longer runs across the last line of the caption on a video you open from a profile, your likes or search. The caption and the music disc beside it move up just enough for the bar, which runs along the caption's bottom edge the way it does with the comment bar showing (#153).
- The diagnostic report no longer says the overlay is missing something just because Hide the comment bar on opened videos is on while you're on the main feed, which never has that bar (#153).
- The diagnostic report's storage section no longer shows part of your account ID as a folder name. TikTok names its offline videos folder after the account (#70).
- With Hide the comment bar on opened videos on, photo posts in an opened grid no longer end above a black band at the bottom. A grid that starts on photos, or runs through several, has no comment bar until a video comes along, and the room kept for it came back as that band. Swiping to the next post in the grid no longer brings the band back either, and a video you open from search results now reaches the bottom too (#153).
- With Show a LIVE under the status bar on, the panels above the first room of the LIVE feed (the one the LIVE button at the top left opens, scrolled up past the first room) now start below the clock. Their top row sat under the status bar, where it was hard to tap. The rooms themselves still reach up under the clock (#137).
- A LIVE in the For You feed no longer carries over the Service+ row (the "Service+ | Ask me anything!" line under the name) from a LIVE you scrolled past. When the next LIVE has no Service+ row of its own, the leftover one is hidden. It's part of the LIVE controls patch and needs no switch (#94).
- LIVE controls can add clear screen to every LIVE room's menu. Clear screen hides a room's chat, gifts and buttons so only the stream shows, and TikTok offered it in only some rooms. Turn on Offer clear screen in every LIVE room in Hushfeed settings > Playback (#57).
- With Show where a video was posted or Show the handle instead of the name on, a creator's display name that comes back on screen is no longer left cut short beside an empty row. Putting the name back now lets the row measure it again (#127).
- AMOLED dark theme now turns the cards on TikTok's own settings pages black as well, on the pages under Settings and privacy, like Display. TikTok's dark mode already paints those pages and search black, so the cards were the gray left over. The search field, the filter chips and the profile menu's cards keep their dark gray, so you can still see where to tap (#152).
- Feature Gate Lab has two presets from TikTok's regional builds. Scrolling comments on videos turns on Korea's one-line comments that run across a video, landscape videos included. Several photos in one comment turns on Japan's photo picker that adds more than one photo to a comment. Both need the Lab's overrides switch and a TikTok restart, and Undo puts back the values you had. TikTok's servers still decide which videos carry scrolling comments and whether a comment with several photos posts (#98).
- A new switch on the Feed screen page, See-through bottom bar, lets the video reach the bottom of the screen and takes the background off the tab bar so the tabs sit over the picture. It starts off (#145).
- Feature Gate Lab has a new preset from Japan's builds, LIVE chat auto-translate. It turns on the Translate comments option under Share in a LIVE room. It needs the Lab's overrides switch and a TikTok restart, and Undo puts back the value you had (#98).
- Advanced downloads can save several posts from a profile grid in one run. Turn on Pick videos to save from profile grids in Hushfeed settings > Downloads and every video in a profile, Liked or Favorites grid gets a circle. Tap the circles of up to 50 posts, then tap Save on the bar at the bottom. They're saved one after another with a running count and Cancel. A post that fails is skipped and the next one still saves, a photo post saves its photos at full size, and with Check for already-saved videos on a video saved before is counted and left alone. Stories and ads get no circle, and TikTok's own tap and long press on a cell work as before until something is picked (#27).
- Pick videos to save from profile grids has a Pick all button on its bar. It picks every post the list has loaded, in the list's order and up to 50 at a time, leaving out stories, ads and, with Check for already-saved videos on, videos saved before. With that check on, a whole profile, Liked or Favorites list saves in runs: save these, tap Pick all again, and the next run starts where the last one stopped, even when TikTok closed partway through one. Only posts TikTok has already loaded are picked, so scroll to the end of a long list first (#27).
- With Hide videos you have already seen on and a full record of 10,000 videos, each video you watch no longer goes through the whole record to find the oldest one to drop. One pass now lines up the 256 oldest, so it happens once every 256 videos, and a record loading at start trims once at the end instead of after every row. Which videos are kept doesn't change (#84).
Update
Refresh the Hushfeed source in Morphe Manager 1.34.0 or newer and patch TikTok again. Keep the manager's existing signing key so your login and settings carry over. The .mpp is a patch bundle, not a TikTok APK.
Checked
- 4491 runtime tests and 903 patch tests passed. Both Android lint checks passed.
- All 134 patches applied to TikTok 47.1.4 with desktop CLI 1.18.1. Resource checks passed, and the attached release receipt records the exact bundle and its result.
- Builds of this release were patched onto TikTok 47.1.4 and installed over the last build on a Galaxy S22 and a Galaxy S25, and both kept their settings.
- On the S22, a profile background saved with Profile background on was still there after a cold restart, went away with the switch off and came back with it on (#80). With a 45 second minimum, the feed after a restart was videos of that length or longer plus photo posts (#154). Show the time to the second showed the time zone and the short date as picked (#147), and picking posts worked inside a Favorites collection folder with Pick all, Cancel and the saved count (#27). Commenter names took their own colors on light and dark comment panels.
- On the S25, See-through bottom bar let the video run under the tab bar with no background behind the tabs (#145).
- Record saved a LIVE on both phones. TikTok sends LIVEs to them as HEVC, and the S25's recording (kept going until the LIVE ended) and the S22's (ended with Stop) each came out as an MP4 that plays, sound included (#37).
