Likhtar Home 0.1.5

Updates from inside the launcher. Once a day Likhtar Home checks GitHub for a newer version. When there is one, an Update button appears above LIKHTAR HOME and in Settings → About. Press it: the launcher downloads the new APK and opens the system installer — your settings stay. The first time, Android asks to allow installing apps from Likhtar Home.

Оновлення з самого лаунчера. Раз на добу лаунчер перевіряє GitHub; якщо є новіша версія — над LIKHTAR HOME і в «Про застосунок» з'являється «Оновлення». Натиснули — лаунчер завантажує APK і відкриває системне встановлення, налаштування лишаються. Уперше Android попросить дозволити встановлення з Likhtar Home.

Fixes from the first user reports.

• Same look on every TV box. On boxes with screen density 240 (many Android TV 9 boxes) episode stills covered the buttons and Ukrainian titles covered the logos. The launcher now keeps one scale everywhere, even if the box switches resolution on the fly.
• Bottom bar centred, and its magnifier is now Search instead of a second Likhtaryk.
• Hide bar sections you don't use: Settings → Home → In the bottom bar.
• Live TV playlist from a file: send an .m3u with Send from phone and press Use as Live TV playlist.
• All apps — first tile in Apps, everything installed A–Z.
• Open anywhere now offers TV apps only.

Виправлення з перших відгуків: однаковий вигляд на всіх приставках (на ATV9 з щільністю 240 кадри серій налазили на кнопки), док по центру й «Пошук» замість другого «Ліхтарика», розділи доку вимикаються в Налаштування → Головна, плейлист ТБ Ефір — файлом з телефона, «Усі застосунки» в розділі застосунків.

Uninstalling safely. When Likhtar becomes your home screen it switches the stock one off, and Android gives an app no chance to undo that while it is being removed. Now the app says so up front:

• Above Make it the home screen — how to uninstall later: Settings → Remote and startup → Bring back the stock home screen first.
• Under Bring back the stock home screen — a reminder to press it before uninstalling.

Already uninstalled and see a black screen? See what to do — nothing is broken, the stock home screen is only switched off.

Безпечне видалення. Застосунок тепер прямо попереджає: щоб видалити Likhtar, спершу Налаштування → Пульт і запуск → Повернути стоковий домашній екран. Якщо вже видалили й бачите чорний екран — що робити.

Jellyfin and Plex in the media library. Films and series from your own server open on their title page in Cinema and play the original file. Continue watching and watched marks stay in sync both ways.

• Jellyfin: Settings → Connections → Add a Jellyfin server — address, user, password (or fill it in from your phone).
• Plex: Settings → Connections → Add a Plex server — enter the code at plex.tv/link, or add a server by address if it allows your home network without sign-in.
• The From your library button now appears in this build too (DLNA and SMB files included).

Jellyfin і Plex у медіатеці. Фільми й серіали з вашого сервера відкриваються на своїх сторінках у Кінозалі й грають оригінальний файл. «Продовжити» й позначки «переглянуто» синхронізуються в обидва боки.

Open a title in any installed app. Apps that handle TMDB links (NUM, Lampa) open the title card directly; apps with a search provider are asked by title; apps that keep their search closed (Alcopa, Nova, Vimu…) get a Search in … button that opens their own search.

Відкрити фільм у будь-якому встановленому застосунку. Ті, що розуміють посилання TMDB (NUM, Lampa), відкривають картку одразу; решта — шукають назву або відкривають власний пошук кнопкою «Шукати в …».

The first public release of Likhtar Home — a calm home screen for Android TV and Google TV.

Install: download likhtar-home.apk below and open it on your TV (Downloader, a USB stick, or adb install likhtar-home.apk). Android 7.0 or newer. Then press Make Likhtar your home screen — one confirmation on the TV, no computer. One button brings the stock home screen back.
