Highlights

  • Fix Issue #9: when the bundled bash payload is declared but missing on disk, ops_bash now returns a concise actionable ENOENT diagnostic instead of exposing a raw spawn exception.
  • Keep the existing fail-closed shell policy: the plugin does not silently fall back to an unauthorized system bash.
  • Retain the Issue #7 script_path path for long scripts and the associated token/JSON stability guidance.

Windows host limitation

The Electron workspace-write 0xC0000142 failure is a DSH host Windows ACL-runner issue outside dsh-ops' subprocess API. This release documents that boundary and does not claim to repair the host runner.

Validation

  • npm run verify
  • 50 manifest checks passed
  • 9 test suites passed
  • 44 shell checks passed
  • 132 existing checks plus the new missing-payload regression coverage passed

Distribution

  • GitHub source tag: v0.2.8
  • This is a GitHub Release only.
  • No npm package was published.
  • The three Windows payload dependencies remain pinned to 0.2.1 and were not republished.
