9.3.2 (Per-device brightness)

Important! If you are using tools for the first time, please read Beginner's guide and AlienFX-GUI readme to configure out its concept and operation principle.

Fan-SDK_V1.zip have binaries built against older fan control version, use it only in case you know what you're doing (or have Aurora R7), check readme file inside archive first to configure out how to make it working!

Changes into this release:

Light SDK:

• New: Now every light device can have separate maximum brightness to level it across many devices (f.e. one looks brighter, then others).

AlienFX-GUI:

• New: At Devices and Grids tab some things changed:
  • Button "Set White balance" renamed to "Balance and Brightness".
  • Device brightness added to the dialogue shown after this button pressed. This brightness apply to selected device and limit it max. brightness.
  • All devices' brightness will be reset to the maximum then this tab selected.
  • Initial brightness (as well as lights off, dimming, etc) settings will be restored after other tab selected or app minimised.
• Bug fixed: Device handling reworked to avoid rare crash at device removal (f.e. external keyboard/mouse removed from the system).

AlienFX-CLI:

• New: set-dim command changed. Now it selects global brightness across all light devices if only one parameter provided, and set device internal max. brightness if two parameters provided. NB: This setting will not store and can be used inside the same CLI call only.
