Wiki structure

  • Layer 1: Tenant layer.
    • The tenant layer is where the whole wiki resides, and cannot interact with another tenant wiki.
  • Layer 2: Foundational layer.
    • The foundational layer, and is the wiki itself.
  • Layer 3:
    • A container layer. There is the default container layer, and you can branch them, or create new ones. A new container is essentially an empty wiki, like a box. A branched container layer is the same information from the branch, but now can be edited and distinct from the main container layer.
  • Layer 4:
    • Branch layer. Pages of the main container layer can be branched (and this will be used for a module, eventually), and the page itself becomes a branch of the main page. It does not leave the container, but is owned by the main page and permanently referenced. Branched pages cannot be created "brand new".
