  • Added lid-state and sleep/wake awareness so Clamless does not try to wake the built-in display while the MacBook is closed or sleeping.
  • Removed stable-state heartbeat polling and suspended status checks while display actions are running, reducing unnecessary helper launches and background work.
  • Added bounded recovery windows and stopped automatic retry loops after failed display actions until a new display, lid, or wake event arrives.
  • Changed file logging to record only warnings and errors by default.
  • Added an optional daily automatic update check in Settings, enabled by default, without automatic installation.

This build is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized yet. On first launch, macOS may require right-clicking Clamless.app and choosing Open.
