AI Assistance
What that means in practice: the architecture, feature decisions, scope, testing, and release of this project were directed by me. Claude was used to implement code I couldn't have written alone at my current Python level — in the same way someone might work with a more experienced collaborator to realise a vision they couldn't execute solo. The code is not copied from any existing project. Every part of TF2autoswap was written specifically for this tool. I'm transparent about this because the modding community deserves honesty about process, and because I don't think access to tools like this should be gated by whether someone can afford a specialist or already has years of programming experience. That said, I do have a background in programming and games development — enough to understand not just what the code does but why, and to take a genuine management and direction role throughout development rather than just accepting whatever was produced.
If you have questions about how the project works or how any decision was made, I'm happy to answer them. The reasoning behind the tool is documented in the author notes, README, and changelog included with each release.
AI assistance or not — I'm genuinely dedicated to this. I plan to keep supporting and developing TF2autoswap for as long as it's useful, and I've made sure that won't change if my access to AI assistance ever becomes limited or goes away entirely.
