May 2026 Release – DIGIT-RUBBER ontology duplicate class removals, metadata updates, and related ontology revisions

1. Duplicate classes have been removed, retaining only those agreed upon with the partners. Partner-provided definition updates and new labels, among others, have been incorporated into the DIGIT-RUBBER ontology.

2. New class/subclass terms, as discussed with the partners, have been added (e.g., stearic acid from CHEBI and others). Classes selected for removal have been deleted, and where such classes had subclasses, these have been reassigned to the appropriate retained classes.

3. Tags have been removed from labels and from external ontology terms. Partner tag information has been retained in the contributor field.
