TRIQS Version 4.0.0 is a major release that

  • Adds new real-frequency (refreq_pts, refreq_log) and Chebyshev imaginary-time meshes
  • Adds a new experimental triqs.experimental package with lattice tight-binding tools and numerical utilities
  • Overhauls the triqs/stat and triqs/mc_tools modules
  • Removes long-deprecated headers and API (triqs/h5.hpp, triqs/mpi/base.hpp, triqs/mpi/vector.hpp, deprecated Matsubara domains, triqs::AnyOf)
  • Bumps the minimum compiler requirements to clang 19 and gcc 14
  • Migrates the C++ API documentation from cpp2rst to Doxygen
  • Migrates all Python bindings from cpp2py to the new clair + c2py toolchain
  • Fixes several library issues
