Server plugins: install the PalApi engine and let your server actually load them.

  • New "Plugins" section for each server. It installs, updates, repairs or removes the PalApi plugin engine in one click, the same way the other server add-ons are handled. The installed version is shown. The engine is downloaded from its official release page, and the installation is refused if the archive does not contain what it should — nothing is written to your server until that check passes.
  • A checkbox: "Start this server with PalApi". Without it, plugins sit on the disk and never start — this is the trap that silently affected servers with plugins installed. The box is unticked by default: nothing changes for anyone who does not use plugins. The change takes effect the next time the server starts.
  • No more false "all good". If the box is ticked while the engine is missing, incomplete, or blocked by a version.dll file, the server refuses to start with a message explaining what to do — instead of starting without the plugins and letting you believe otherwise. The Plugins screen also tells you in advance exactly what will happen on the next start.
  • PalApi installed by other means is recognised. If the engine was put in place by hand or by another tool, the Plugins section sees it and identifies its version from the files themselves — so an update made outside the manager no longer shows the old version. A "Check again" button re-reads the files, and the screen refreshes on its own when you come back to the app.
  • Half-installed engines are reported as such (naming the missing file) instead of being reported as absent; and if the server files cannot be read at all, the app says so rather than concluding that nothing is installed.
  • Your plugins and settings are never overwritten. Updating the engine only replaces the engine itself, and its two files are replaced together — never half of them.
  • A server started with plugins is still tracked properly. Stopping it from the app closes the server and its launcher: no process survives.
  • Direct access to Bastion Service from the Plugins section: the launcher that hosts our products, and a link to download its latest version.
