What's changed

Added

  • Switch between Processes, Network endpoints, and Find processes by file with dedicated keyboard shortcuts. Network and file-search workspaces keep their results, filters, and selection when switching views. (Issue #138)
  • Open separate Session, Profile, View, Tools, and Settings menus using their access keys. Header items that do not fit move into the More menu. (Issue #138)
  • Open context menus for processes, endpoints, and Graph samples. Actions apply to the item that opened the menu, even if the selection changes. Show graph opens the requested Graph or focuses it if it already exists. (Issue #142)
  • Move focus between visible panels with Ctrl and the arrow keys, following their on-screen positions. (Issue #136)
  • Click shortcut hints in the footer to perform the shown actions. Right-click a process-table header to configure columns, then use clickable controls to adjust them. (Issue #139, Issue #141)
  • Choose an accent color directly in Settings and enable a separate high-contrast option. Both preferences are restored on the next launch. (Issue #144)
  • Open Help at the section for the current panel or dialog, then use the section picker to browse the complete reference. Help is available while dialogs are open and returns you to the same task when closed. (Issue #125, Issue #146)
  • Preview a recording's tracked names, recording interval, and time range before opening it. (Issue #133)
  • Select all eligible processes in the list in Tracked-only mode, including rows outside the viewport. Processes hidden by filters or collapsed Tree branches are excluded. (Issue #134)

Changed

  • Double-clicking a process name or PID now opens Process Info. Use Space, t, or the Track name context action to change tracking. (Issue #142)
  • Use the same keys to move the text cursor, apply a filter, and clear it in Processes and investigation views. Opening Network or file search focuses the query field and keeps any text already entered. (Issue #124)
  • Make investigation actions easier to find in menus and show available shortcuts in the footer. (Issue #126)
  • Clarify that tracking applies by process name, profiles save tracked names, display preferences are shared, and Graphs last only for the current session. (Issue #127)
  • Adjust the height of Processes automatically to use the available space while keeping Graphs readable. Use a compact grid for per-core CPU usage and keep resource panels separate in narrow windows. (Issue #130, Issue #135, Issue #140)
  • Show common metrics first in new process-table configurations. Existing column choices are preserved. (Issue #139)
  • Keep general CPU, memory, GPU, and I/O metrics ahead of optional .NET metrics in Process Info. (Issue #131)
  • Send screen updates in batches and display complete frames together on terminals that support synchronized updates. Intermittent slowdowns in the affected terminal environment still need verification. (Issue #120)

Fixed

  • Prevent Tracking List edits during Recording and Log view. Allow Tracked-only switching from any main panel. (Issue #121)
  • Confirm before a profile replaces unsaved tracking changes, including when reopening the active profile. (Issue #122)
  • Keep process PIDs visible in Graph and Samples titles when names are shortened. Prevent long titles from truncating B-A values, label units, and clarify which time range each summary covers. (Issue #123)
  • Show a border around the entire Graph workspace when it has focus. (Issue #137)
  • Distinguish the process cursor from multi-selection with persistent row highlighting, markers, and a selected count. Keep process names readable in deeply nested Tree views. (Issue #128, Issue #132)
  • Clearly label paused and recorded metrics and live Files results. Keep the Recording indicator advancing while the display is paused. (Issue #129)
  • Keep action messages visible long enough to read without letting regular sampling overwrite them. Clear them after a short time or when their context changes. Explain why profile actions are unavailable where those actions appear. (Issue #16, Issue #145)
  • Update the resize-handle highlight when the mouse moves over it, including while the display is paused. (Issue #143)
