TabPlex's first public release brings local-first browser workspaces, safe
switching, task context, history recovery, and backups into one workflow.

What's included

  • Create, search, and switch workspaces in the current browser window
  • Rolling tab loading for large workspaces, failed-switch recovery, and tab-state
    protection
  • Workspace notes, linked resources, Timeline, and snapshot recovery
  • Local backup import, export, and integrity validation
  • Chrome and Edge shortcuts with a compact desktop interface
  • Optional local Agent Control; the Native Host must be installed separately and
    is not included in the extension ZIP

Download and install

  • tabplex-chrome-v1.0.0.zip: Chrome build
  • tabplex-edge-v1.0.0.zip: Edge build

These are developer-mode packages and are not Chrome Web Store or Microsoft Edge
Add-ons listings. Download and extract the appropriate ZIP, enable Developer
mode on the browser's extensions page, choose Load unpacked, and select the
extracted extension directory.

Release verification

  • GitHub Actions passed 87 test files and 517 tests
  • Formatting, secret scanning, third-party license checks, and the production
    dependency audit passed
  • Chrome and Edge production builds plus smoke checks for all four extension
    pages passed
  • Both build directories and both ZIP packages passed release-mode artifact
    verification

下载与安装

  • tabplex-chrome-v1.0.0.zip：Chrome 版本
  • tabplex-edge-v1.0.0.zip：Edge 版本

当前提供的是未上架商店的开发者安装包：下载并解压对应 ZIP，在浏览器扩展管理页
开启开发者模式，选择加载已解压的扩展程序，然后选中解压后的扩展目录。

发布验证

  • GitHub Actions：87 个测试文件、517 项测试全部通过
