syncparty v0.1.0

Install

Windows — the .exe setup file below (or the .msi)
macOS — aarch64.dmg for Apple silicon, x64.dmg for Intel

Everything syncparty needs — Tailscale, the Syncplay client, mpv,
and the Python environment for hosting — is checked on first launch
and installed for you if it is missing.

Before you open it

These builds are unsigned. Windows SmartScreen will say "unknown
publisher": choose More info → Run anyway. macOS Gatekeeper
will refuse the first launch: right-click the app → Open.

Update note (2026-07-30)

The Windows installers were rebuilt to include two fixes made after this tag:
hosts can now join their own party, and a guest whose device has no
Tailscale route to the host gets a clear explanation instead of a bare list
of addresses. macOS builds are unchanged; a full v0.2 release with in-app
auto-update is coming next.
