Fubako manages the dated folders in a work directory as tasks. This is the first release.
It takes over a routine that usually happens by hand: create a folder such as
20260802_survey for a piece of work, collect the documents in it, and move it to an
archive once it is finished. A task is still just a folder — its state, tags and notes
live in a .todo.json next to the files, so moving or renaming the folder in Explorer
keeps everything attached to it.

What it does
- Board, list, month calendar and dashboard views over the same folders
- Progress derived from checklist items and weighted by their time estimates
- Search across folder names, tags, notes, checklist items and file names; a
#tagterm narrows to tags alone - Completing a task moves the folder into a year-based archive, and stale or due work is surfaced
- Lives in the tray, opens with
Ctrl+Alt+E, and can be pinned on top as a strip beside whatever you are working on
Requirements
Windows 10 20H2 or later, where WebView2 is already included. The app makes no network
connections.
Notes
Moving folders is the point of this tool, so for a first release it is worth trying it
against a copy before pointing it at work you care about.
