Missile Cam 0.3.5
Fix: the game's "Open Control Bindings Menu" button is reachable again.
In 0.3.4 and earlier, the Missile Cam Keys button in Settings > Controls sat exactly on top of the game's Open Control Bindings Menu button, so you could not open the game's own key bindings. Thanks to Wizard Of Za for the report.
What changed:
- The two buttons now sit side by side under Binding Settings: Open Control Bindings Menu on the left, Missile Cam Keys on the right.
- Nothing else changed.
]follows your missiles,[follows your target,\returns, and Ctrl+F8 opens the key window.
Test status: tested on Nuclear Option 0.34.2, on Linux with Proton, as the only mod: both buttons show side by side in Settings > Controls, and Open Control Bindings Menu opens the game's bindings window. Not yet tested on Windows or in VR.
Install: with a mod manager, use NoMissileCam-0.3.5-plugins.zip. By hand, unzip NoMissileCam-0.3.5.zip into the game folder (it contains BepInEx/plugins/NoMissileCam/). Needs BepInEx 5.
Missile Cam 0.3.4
The camera no longer lets you hop to other aircraft while you are flying.
In 0.3.3 and earlier, while Missile Cam followed your missile or your target, the game's Change Spectate Faction key could move the camera to the nearest tracked aircraft of another side, and the mod then let go. That let a flying player look at units the game alone would not show them. Please update.
What changed:
- While Missile Cam has the camera and your aircraft is flying, the Change Spectate Faction key does nothing. You see "spectating is off while you fly" on screen.
- If anything else moves the camera to a unit that is not your target, one of your own missiles or your own aircraft, the camera goes straight back to your aircraft.
- The hold after a hit is now 0 to 5 seconds (2.5 by default; higher values in the config are cut to 5), and you cannot move the camera during the hold.
- Target view still opens only when your side has an accurate track on the target, the same check the game's map uses.
Everything else works as before: ] follows your missiles and moves to the next one, [ follows your target, \ returns, and Ctrl+F8 opens the key window.
Test status: tested in a single-player mission on Nuclear Option 0.34.2, on Linux with Proton, as the only mod: missile follow, the move to the next missile after a hit, target view, the key window, the spectator key while following a missile and while following the target, and the hold with camera move input held down (0.0 m of movement, against about 470 m in 0.3.3). Not yet tested on Windows, in multiplayer or in VR.
Install: with a mod manager, use NoMissileCam-0.3.4-plugins.zip. By hand, unzip NoMissileCam-0.3.4.zip into the game folder (it contains BepInEx/plugins/NoMissileCam/). Needs BepInEx 5.
Missile Cam 0.3.3
Download: NoMissileCam-0.3.3.zip (below, under Assets)
Install: you need BepInEx 5 in your Nuclear Option folder. Unzip NoMissileCam-0.3.3.zip into the Nuclear Option folder (the one with NuclearOption.exe), so you get BepInEx/plugins/NoMissileCam/NoMissileCam.dll. Start the game, fire a missile and press ]. Full steps and all keys are in the README.
NoMissileCam-0.3.3-plugins.zip is the same mod for mod managers such as NOMM. It has the same files without the folders, so do not unzip it into the game folder by hand.
What's new in 0.3.3
- A second zip for mod managers. The mod itself is unchanged from 0.3.2, so if you already have 0.3.2 there is no need to update.
0.3.2 was tested in a single-player mission on Nuclear Option 0.34.2 (Linux, Proton) with no other mods: missile follow, the move to the next missile, target view and the Ctrl+F8 key window. Not yet tested on Windows, in multiplayer or in VR. Please report problems in Issues.
Missile Cam 0.3.2
Download: NoMissileCam-0.3.2.zip (below, under Assets)

What's new in 0.3.2
- Fix: the mod no longer stops working on a normal BepInEx install. In 0.3.1 the game removed the plugin right after start, so the keys did nothing unless another mod (such as Nuclear Replay) happened to keep it alive. Please update.
Tested in a single-player mission on Nuclear Option 0.34.2 (Linux, Proton) with no other mods: missile follow, the move to the next missile, target view and the Ctrl+F8 key window. Not yet tested on Windows, in multiplayer or in VR. Please report problems in Issues.
