MÖBIUS 0.3.19 - interaction fixes
MÖBIUS 0.3.19 — interaction fixes and living self-test
This Windows preview closes the remaining interaction gaps found against the drag-demo fixture and keeps a living UI contract next to the source.
Highlights
- Selecting a project keeps its checkouts expanded after later tree renders.
- Dialog headers use
Close dialog; footers keepCancel, so Cancel is unique. - Inspector tabs have exact accessible names (
Handoff graphno longer includes the edge count). - Leaving a dirty canvas waits for save, so reopening restores the objects.
- Mounted Library live-sync from 0.3.18 remains: native recursive watching, atomic snapshots, 180 ms debounce.
- OMP is a first-class harness alongside Codex, Claude Code, Pi and Grok.
- Search remains local SQLite FTS/BM25. Semantic or vector search is not in this release.
Self-test
JSON at docs/acceptance/self-test-checklist.json is the source of truth (58 rows). Regenerate Markdown with pnpm --dir apps/desktop sync:checklist and verify with pnpm --dir apps/desktop check:checklist. Isolated smoke already includes tests/self-test-checklist.spec.ts.

MÖBIUS 0.3.17 - UI distillation
MÖBIUS 0.3.17 — UI distillation
This Windows preview reduces repeated chrome and gives session lineage more room to work.
Highlights
- Replaced the large lineage preview-settings section with a compact translucent popover.
- Moved graph controls and node actions into compact top toolbars.
- Removed nested graph/detail scrolling and the large empty graph gap.
- Reduced repeated workspace, library, agent and brand headings.
- Collapsed the persistent global search field into an icon entry point while retaining page-local search.
- Tightened borders, tabs, spacing and responsive behavior for content-first layouts.
- Verified graph/list switching, persisted layout settings, light/dark themes, and 1100 × 760 rendering against the installed application.
The packages are unsigned Windows development builds and may trigger SmartScreen. MÖBIUS does not patch or replace Codex, Claude Code, Pi, Grok or OMP.
MÖBIUS 0.3.16 - Windows preview
Adds configurable Session lineage previews and validates a multi-Session drag-demo workflow. Graphs now support horizontal or vertical layout, compact nodes, optional native IDs and source status, persistent preview preferences, clearer counts, search focus, ancestor highlighting, and all five Harness targets. The installed package passed a five-Session, four-handoff, three-round lineage test plus project-private Skill install/edit/isolation/uninstall acceptance.
MÖBIUS 0.3.15 - Windows preview
Restores five-provider session indexing for Codex, Claude Code, Pi, Grok and OMP; deduplicates copied session sources; cleans Harness wrapper titles; makes Mome recall incremental and responsive; fixes the Session Sources dialog; and hardens Skill marketplace loading. Grok is inspect/search/handoff-only unless a verified native resume contract is available. OMP uses its documented native resume shape. Windows builds are unsigned; verify SHA256SUMS.txt before installation.
MÖBIUS 0.3.14 - Windows preview
Full installed-product acceptance for Codex, Claude Code, and Pi. This release fixes idempotent workspace aggregation across legacy catalogue identities, guarantees a final association pass for every indexed Session whose recorded CWD still exists, limits active discovery/Skill/MCP/CLI provider choices to Codex/Claude/Pi, and includes the desktop navigation, search-focus, and Library splitter fixes. The NSIS installer bundles offline WebView2. Builds are unsigned; verify SHA256SUMS.txt before running.
MÖBIUS 0.3.13 - Windows preview
MÖBIUS 0.3.13 — Harness boundary correction
MÖBIUS now keeps a strict ownership boundary around Codex, Claude Code, Pi and
Grok: it calls the installed tools through their documented CLI and never
patches or replaces a harness executable or launcher.
Changes
- Codex handoff and exact native resume explicitly pass the selected project
through the official-C <directory>option using an ordinary Windows drive
or UNC spelling. - Source verification, exact native session IDs, source-owned
CODEX_HOMEand
active-writer protection remain in place. - The experimental Codex source patch and its tests/documentation were removed.
The installed official Codex 0.153.4 launcher was restored byte-for-byte. - Documentation no longer claims that the external Codex
/resumepicker is a
MÖBIUS acceptance surface.
Verified
- 50 MÖBIUS core and 13 desktop unit tests passed; seven integration tests passed
and one pre-existing fixture-gated test remained ignored. - Official Codex 0.153.4 app-server resumed an isolated copy of real history by
exact ID with the requested cwd; the original transcript prefix was unchanged
and no model turn was submitted. - The official 0.153.4 CLI accepts MÖBIUS'
-C <directory> resume <id>command. - Optimized Windows portable EXE and offline-WebView2 installer were rebuilt.
Follow-up verification on 2026-09-11 passed packaged IPC with a separate
WebView2 profile: real PowerShell delivered the exact ID, ordinary cwd and
source-owned home to a recording CLI, with invalid sources correctly rejected.
Official Codex was updated through npm to 0.154.0; the launcher, executable and
code-mode host match the official distribution byte-for-byte. Its app-server
read/resume through external PowerShell passed against isolated real history.
The credential-free interactive TUI stopped at first-run login; that step and
the old default-picker behavior on 0.154.0 remain unverified. No model turn was
submitted. No application binary was changed in this follow-up.
The published download is the portable ZIP (containing the EXE) and SHA256SUMS.
The standalone EXE and offline installer are retained locally; uploads did not
complete. The preview is unsigned and portable use requires WebView2 Runtime.
Known external picker limit
Official Codex 0.153.4 can show an empty Cwd/Active /resume picker for an old
state row whose indexed cwd spelling or historical provider differs from the
current filter. MÖBIUS cannot alter that query without crossing the harness
boundary. The exact session remains recoverable through MÖBIUS or
codex resume <id> after its active writer exits normally.
Follow-up resolution (2026-09-11): the user authorized rollback of the
custom Grok/provider router. Restoring the original built-in provider resolved
the affected default picker. External codex resume, typed /resume, and
packaged MÖBIUS real PowerShell now list the expected project session without
provider overrides. External selection and MÖBIUS' native resume handler both
reach the official protection for the still-open session. Its owner must exit
normally before continuation; no takeover or model turn was performed.
Mobius 0.3.12 - Windows preview
MÖBIUS 0.3.12 — superseded
This preview is superseded by v0.3.13.
The earlier claim that an external Codex compatibility patch was part of MÖBIUS acceptance is withdrawn. MÖBIUS does not patch, replace, or rebuild Codex or any other harness. It only integrates installed tools through their documented command-line interfaces.
Use v0.3.13 for the corrected harness boundary, exact-ID resume flow, Windows working-directory normalization, and current acceptance record.
Mobius 0.3.11 - Windows preview

WebView2 is bundled in the installer. Application data remains in the configured Möbius data directories, not beside the executable. This is an unsigned Windows preview and may trigger SmartScreen. Agent CLIs and accounts are configured separately; semantic/vector search is not included yet.
Verification
- TypeScript check, Vite production build, release Tauri build, window-drag regression, and
cargo test --workspacepassed. - Isolated WebView2 interaction smoke passed: workspace drag, note save/rename, tab menus, mount tree collapse, terminal contrast, global skill discovery, and Skill market switching.
Mobius 0.3.10 - Windows preview
Mobius 0.3.10 — Windows preview
Fixes
- Correct the Windows native drag/drop configuration so HTML5 workspace drops can reach the workbench.
- Add a regression guard for that configuration, plus project-name dragging, duplicate-drop and reload-persistence checks.
- Include the recent library/editor interaction and global skill discovery fixes from the main branch.

- Verify downloads against
SHA256SUMS.txt. - The offline NSIS installer was built, but its upload failed with HTTP 400. It is not included in this release's public downloads. The checksum file also records the inner EXE and locally retained installer for verification; only the ZIP is the public application asset.
Verification and known limits
TypeScript checks, the window configuration regression and the isolated desktop WebView interaction regression passed. The interaction regression covers project-name drag, duplicate prevention, reload persistence, note save/rename, mount tree, terminal contrast and global skill discovery. The optimized app and NSIS installer were rebuilt for 0.3.10.
Native Windows mouse acceptance remains pending: the Computer Use native service was unavailable. CDP interaction checks do not prove an OS-level mouse drag works. Installer lifecycle testing was not repeated for this version. This release is an unsigned development preview, not a claim of full production acceptance; Windows may display a SmartScreen warning.
Agent CLIs and accounts must be installed/configured separately. Semantic/vector search is not yet implemented. Original agent session files remain read-only.
Mobius 0.3.9 - Windows preview
Möbius 0.3.9 — Windows preview
A local-first workspace for Codex, Claude Code, Pi and Grok sessions.
- Cross-agent handoff with reviewable trajectory context and project-level lineage.
- Local session search, precise references, Markdown documents and multimedia canvas.
- Current desktop fixes, bilingual product overview and close-up product tour.

Verification and boundaries
Built with the current versioned source. Fresh isolated installation, app startup, onboarding dismissal, language/theme controls, normal app close and silent uninstall were exercised; test data remained after uninstall. Desktop frontend and website builds passed. Default Rust tests passed, with the old machine-specific fixture acceptance test explicitly ignored; live harness integrations were not rerun for this packaging update.
This is an unsigned development preview, not a claim of complete production acceptance. SmartScreen may warn. Install your own agent CLIs and configure their accounts separately. Native resume stays with the original harness; switching agents creates a new session. Selected history sent to a model consumes context tokens. Website/video demo data is fictional and agent output is scripted.
